Incident at BASF in Geismar

Initially reports said emergency crews responding to a reported fire at BASF Geismar. Now media is saying no fire but Two workers exposed to unknown substance.

What’s going on plant baws? Hope it was not Phosgene.

That’s the devils gas. I worked on building the new TDI unit 20 years ago.

I hauled MDI out of there for a few years. Tempur pedic was a big account. Bridgestone. Foam companies. Fresenius.
