So I will. Regardless of his off court decisions him BI and Zion makes us contenders. All available draft capital and everyone not named Zion Brandon or Trey would be on the table if I’m GM. Kyrie BI TM3 Zion Val -> ‘ship

I don’t want him. We have enough problems with Griff and Zion.

As much as I dislike Kyrie, I still have to admit this might be true.

How do Griff and Kyrie feel about each other?

We are in market where they have take risks I know we might have craziest team in the league at that point but that would be a very talented 3 man unit. The other thing I would worry about is it didn’t sound it went great with Kyrie in Boston with the young guys so that would be a concern.

I am down for it...he can play in pretty much every game outside of New York and California. Why the frick not? Zion will have eaten his way out of the league in 2-3 years, so the time is now.

The dude is a malcontent and idiot. Why would a team that has had trouble in the past with malcontents and idiots go out of their way to bring another one on board?

Irving and Simmons are the exact type of guys we should never go after again.

Kyrie is an ubertalented proven winner. He may have to much Ricky Williams in him, but New Orleans is not the kind of market that can avoid a guy like this. Hell, we traded for Boogie who may be the biggest head case in the NBA.

Does that stop him from performing on court? No so I don’t care. He is a 50/40/90 player. Only 10 players in NBA history can say they did that. Having 3 scorers that can score that efficiently makes us a WCSF floor imo

I am not saying he would even come here, but to say no to that kind of talent in a shitty market like NOLA is crazy

Because he's good enough that we could win a title? I'm not saying that we should do it, but we absolutely have to consider it. I just wonder if we still have enough assets to get it done.

Pretty sure the mandates only force the home players to be vaccinated in NY and CA. Not away players.

Kyrie gets sent to one of about 25 teams and he is good. Which is why I figure a trade of him for Simmons is likely a possibility.

Such a trade would enable both teams to still contend for a title this season. But, of course, those two teams are in each other's way, so do you really want to help a team that's one of your biggest obstacles to getting to the Finals?

Edit: Also, if you're Philly, what happens if you face the Nets in the playoffs and Kyrie can't play in the away games and you lose the series because of that?

No, if Kyrie is traded, I think it will be to a team in the Western Conference, because then, your only risk is the Finals.

If I remember right the rule only applies to the home teams in SF and NY, not the away teams. Makes no logical and medical sense but ya know honk honk

For 1 season of a dude who misses more than half of his team's playoff games over the years?

A better run team and culture in Boston couldn’t keep Kyrie bought in and in line, he’s telling his friends that he chose to play with in Brooklyn to essentially kick rocks(a year removed from abandoning them for a month), there is zero chance it ends in anything less than disaster in New Orleans.

Boogie was a bit of a hot head and ego, Kyrie has legit undiagnosed mental issues that make early career Ron Artest look like a poster child for good mental health.

The talent is undeniable, but so is the inevitable end result.

Could you imagine making this trade, getting to the finals against the Nets, and Kyrie can't play when we go to Brooklyn?

And no...I don't want the constant distraction he would be to this team.
