Jimbo is just as bad as Ed O, maybe even worse. With Jimbo and his antiquated crappy offense, no way LSU would have won a Natty like Ed O did had Jimbo been hired.

Are you 8 years old? You act like Jimbo didn't already win a NC with Jameis Winston. You trying to say he won with Jameis but couldn't win with Burrow?

If you want to say we wouldn't have gotten Burrow, that makes sense. Herman would've.

Wasn’t me. I did time in TD prison for saying something negative.

Jimbo just beat Saban with a backup QB. Ed needed a heisman winning transfer QB and is now losing to Miss St. and kentucky without him.

I supported the hire and he has a N.C. on his resume. Not saying it was at all him but I give credit where its due. I am man enough to admit I was for the hire. 2019 was the best team in the history of Cfb. Blacklist me? What ? F. y !

That was doomed from the start. How are we going to always have successful coordinators if the guy picking them is badly flawed??

Which is it?

For the record, I don't think anyone should be blacklisted for having supported the hire, but a group of his supporters back then were pretty nasty toward those of us who didn't. There was even a purge of several of us back in 2018/early 2019. O has been a much more divisive figure for the fan base than Miles was.

I was for anyone other than Les. Ed turned out to be a good hire at the time and he gets credit for the magical 2019 season. I even remember seeing several prominent anti Ed posters admit that they were wrong about him after 2019.

Turns out that Ed was better hire than Tom Herman and maybe even Jimbo who were both at the top of most posters list. Not mine.

My thoughts were to see what Ed can do, and if he screws up get rid of him. We got a lot of good from him, but now we're seeing his ugly side and it's time to change.

Most everyone was right and wrong about Ed O.

Not sure you would call it “supported”, but I was cautiously optimistic.

LOL.....Do you think Alabama, or OSU, would say that. The name of the game for greatness is consistency and not living in the past..... I want my team to be at least respectable now and not a laughingstock over what happened years ago.

I wasn't lobbying for him, but didn't want Fisher (the mess of a team FSU was putting on the field) or Herman (His resume didn't impress me at U of H, due to their competition level).

If they had other big names on the list I would have preferred those but I wasn't hearing much. It baffled me they fired Miles, without having the other guy locked down.

With O, I was enamored with this being his dream job and the fact that he had so much riding on it he had lots of skin in the game so to speak, excellent recruiter, etc. 2019 happened and, I was awed by the lightening in a bottle.

I'll have a side of mashed dreams with my humble pie.

Hoping for something like.

Didn't we all fall for his childish behavior (and in many cases acted like him) when things were going well??

Again, why in the hell would a top notch coordinator come coach under an idiot head coach???!!

You silly bastards could never answer that

Because we hoped he’d be much more like Dabo than The current version of Ed O. That’s why.
