I agree. Post-2019, he rolled the dice and has crapped out. His coordinator hires have been the most puzzling to me. They were both arrogant and remedial as if he thought that he had time and if they don't work out he would hire someone different.

Aside from Brady coming in, the offense has been suspect since he fired Cam. Losing Aranda, which he inherited and retained, has really sunk his ship. I do like his position hires/promotions this off season and bringing in Coach Mac.

But the attempt to replicate 2019 is last ditch effort that has failed with new play callers and young QB that struggles throwing the ball.

I didn’t like the hire. He main selling point was to hire the best coordinators and finish strong in recruiting. He didn’t do either one. He did good enough recruiting but lost on some big ones that we had no back up on

We need a running list of poster that supported the Ed hire because he is “one of us”

No we don't. This is the same shite the CheeriOs did after wins to call out "haters". Don't stoop to their level.

Banning people from the rant doesn’t prevent bad coaching hires. Nobody comes here for an echo chamber.

I supported his hire. He ended up coaching the best team ever to an undefeated National Championship. If he gets fired, go ahead and build his statue.

They should be black listed from threads regarding new coach hires.

While we’re at it, can we blacklist the people who want to hire Kiffin or the ones addressing posts to Woodward like he’s going to read them?

Checked OP's history (pretty sad). He was a Herman fan who had a huge melt after Orgeron got the job in 2016. Started rooting for Texas.

Hey OP, how did that work out for you?

I generally just wait and cheer like hell for whoever is in the job. But, let’s not forget that they went after Jimbo and Herman first. Ed was then selected. He did fairly well as USC interim and LSU interim. So, fans gave him the chance. 2018 was good. 2019 was all time great. Ed is a poor leader and makes immature decisions. That caught up with him. As with Les - the time has come to move on. I hope the next coach is a footballl mind, mature decision maker, etc. I’ll cheer like hell for him.

Nailed it.

I wanted Herman. But after Herman and Jimbo were no longer options, I was fine with O. Otherwise, see above.

“There’s one in the spotlight. He don’t look right to me. Get him up against The Wall”.
O was the best that we could get at the time. We can’t fault anyone for that.

I think the idiots here are the ones who didn't support it then. Not saying support it now but he put together the best team ever. No Coach O possibly no 2019.

So if you had Herman he was going to go get Burrow and Brady?

I can 100% tell you he didn't want Burrow at all.

Didn't support, came and ate my crow after the 2019 season. Now back to puke up said crow.

I will hand it to Orgeron he has made it quite a ride as far as hate/love/hate goes.

Y’all just don’t understand that 2019 was mostly a Brady and Burrow show. O was just smart enough to step out of the way. And now he is getting IN the way which is e we hat he needs to stay away from. But no worries tiger fans, after FLA comes into Tiger Stadium and beats us by at 25 he will be put to pasture.
