I think Kiffin runs the score up for his resume and Woodward’s attention and O is canned on Sunday after

End of the season. Otherwise it would have been done already.

It’s either after the “official” possibility of winning 8 games is exhausted (so after OM), OR it will be after the season is over. I think it will be just BEFORE TAM, al la Hal Hunter.

I expected it was going to be today, so I don't know. It kind of seemed like if Orgeron was going to be fired in-season, that performance against Kentucky was all that needed to be seen to make the move. So now it seems like Woodward may actually let him finish the season... But then, we could go and get blown out by 50 points in any of our next few games, and Woodward might go ahead and fire him, anyway.

Today, for me, was really the most predictable time for him to be fired. So I'm not even going to guess from here on out.

I agree with you. The bye week after gives the staff time to adjust. O will do damage to the program on multiple fronts if he’s here until the end of the season.

I believe he hasn’t been fired yet because Woodward told him 9-3 to be safe 8-4 and your iffy. We are 3-3 and technically he can run the table. We all know that ain’t happening but Woodward is keeping his word. Once he gets the 4th kiss he is out the door IMO.

When it's feasible to do so. Can't put a date on that. To many things have to be in place first.

As bad as I wanted him gone yesterday, what benefit is it to do it now? If he makes it past next Monday I vote for after last game. There is no competitive edge in recruiting, our next coach will most likely be coaching until end of December or Into January.

How many recruits do we lose between now and then?

less then you will lose with no HC and no idea who will be here next year. as strange as it sounds, waiting until before the last game helps you keep recruits because it shows we arent impulsive and irrational about the coaching situation here

After A&M, he let Sumlin finish the year out.

They should offer him to finish season as lame duck basis. All of the pressure would be off. The team could just try to make the best of it without the huge question mark over the program. I think Orgeron would do it too.
