White Sox reliever Ryan Tepera says Astros are stealing signs at home

Because they threw scoreless innings in the last half of Game 3. And ESPN is rolling with it.
Nevermind the Astros are the #1 offense
Nevermind the Astros had already scored 6 runs the first half of Game 3 (were they stealing signs then too?).
Guess that means the White Sox stealing signs at home because they scored 12 runs.

CHICAGO -- White Sox reliever Ryan Tepera implied that the Astros may have been stealing signs in Games 1 and 2 of their AL Division Series after Chicago won the third game Sunday night.
Houston was going for a sweep after it rolled to a pair of impressive victories at home. But it struck out 16 times in a 12-6 loss at Chicago after it struck out a total of 16 times in the first two games. The AL West champions went down in order in each of the last five innings.
Tepera, who worked two perfect innings, noted the difference between the Astros at home and on the road.
"Yeah. It is what it is. They've obviously had a reputation of doing some sketchy stuff over there," he said. "It's just, we can say that it's a little bit of a difference. I think you saw the swings and misses tonight compared to, you know, the first two games at Minute Maid.

It’s about time to shut their asses up with a toad clincher.

One of the top comments on the Reddit thread (yeah I know) about it:
“22 whiffs for the Astros tonight, 29 for the Sox.
On Friday Astros had 15, Sox had 23.
On Thursday, Astros had 16, Sox had 16.
You can make of that what you will.
Now my opinion? teams were swinging at shite out of the zone cause nobody knew what was a strike.”

I’m so sick of all this complaining, stop crying you’re just getting beat!
And if they’re stealing your signs, be better at hiding them!

It is mind boggling that these “news” sites refuse to bring up the home plate umpire inconsistencies as part of the issue with these strikeouts. Either take the strike zone box off the telecasts so no one knows how many times these assholes get the pitch wrong or provide more criticism for their inaccuracies and force Manfred to go to a better system…aka roboumps. Because that guy last night had no business calling a playoff game.

Anyone who knows an ounce about baseball can figure this out.

It’s more likely the umps zone was horrible last night. Forced bad swings.

I mean, everyone steals signs at home.
It’s why every team changes their signals when someone is on 2nd base.

It’s possible he’s just trying to get in the heads of some of the Astros. I’m not saying it will have any impact, but maybe he’s just throwing some shade.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the white Sox are still cheating too.

Coming from the roided out teams Larussa has been involved with over the years

White Sox were 53-28 at home and 40-41 on the road.
Clearly, they're stealing signs and I will offer up as much proof as this claim.

I wouldn't say their rolling with it. ESPN is giving it a clickbait headline and just saying what Ryan said. Annoying as it is, it's what the media does nowadays.

That’s good news for us Astro fans that their players are thinking about other things than baseball.

You couldn’t find a game recap for the first 2 games on ESPN.com. Not even an AP recap, much less a story from one of ESPN’s “writers.”
Now, all of sudden, the Astros lose and another idiot pitcher opens his mouth and we have coverage of this series.
Then the media wonders why many people no longer trust it.

White Sox don't need to engage in disinformation and psyops, they've already got Dusty sitting on the Astros bench.
