Question about Kiner

Did he screw one of the coaches ole ladies??
This is the only reason I can come up with on why he doesn’t get more PT.
Don’t give me the he can’t pass block shite. I’ve seen him miss maybe 1 or 2 blocks this season. It’s not like TDP is a world beater at blocking either. Dude has def whiffed on more blocks than Kiner and literally averages 3 yards a carry.

I don't even remember the game but it was late in fourth quarter. He did one of those Clyde like spin moves and found the endzone. Have been wishing to see him more since.

Or the other one “the other team is tired and he only gets the ball in the 4th Q”
The kid can play and it doesn’t matter when he’s getting reps because he’s outplaying the other guys who get reps during that time by a huge margin.

It's like seeing a bad car accident right after it happened. You don't really want to look but you really cant help yourself, so you look and immediately regret it.

He got banged up against CMU or Miss State when tried to hurdle somebody and slammed to the ground. Not sure if that’s the reason or not

He’s has several of those wow plays each game and I can’t help but think he could be our next special back. Apparently our coaches don’t see it that way though.

It’s mind numbing, because you make that one obvious tweak to the lineup & you probably win last week

Kiner should start. Backed up by Goodwin, then TDP or Williams.

Of all the things people bitch about regarding the depth chart/rotations, this is the one that I think is the most valid.
I thought for sure after CMU that the coaches were transitioning Kiner into the #1 role. Then TDP gets 3x as many carries as Kiner vs. State and they get 5 each vs. Auburn. And it’s really worse, because TDP is on the field FAR more than Kiner. I don’t have the exact snap counts but it seemed to me like TDP had at least twice as many snaps against Auburn.
I’m not going to discount the value of having someone that Max trusts in pass protection, especially the way our OL has played. But no RB is going to be able to do much about a guard/center getting bull rushed by a DT. And when Auburn is constantly dropping 7-8 into coverage we could at least put the guy who poses a threat to run in the game to keep them honest.

I haven’t seen a single impressive thing from Goodwin. Kiner is much better.
