Do real people ever wear this, or is this just the way they indicate that someone is a “regular guy” in TV commercials? I don’t notice people wearing this in real life, but maybe I’m just missing it.

If I’m being honest, it annoys me. But a lot of stupid shite does.

You've never thrown on a heavier outer shirt, on top of a t-shirt, when it was little chilly but didn't warrant a jacket?

The only time I ever wear a flannel shirt is wide arse open without a shirt underneath

Imagine having to go though life being annoyed by something as mundane can guys wearing an open flannel shirt over a t-shirt.

You must live in an unrelenting hell everyday. What miserable existence.

I do it a lot with a carhartt vest. Warm but not too warm.

Lately it’s Henleys under flannels

Henley style shirts simultaneously make me want to vomit and punch the person wearing it

I do when I'm mowing the lawn or working around the house. It's not for going out.

I wore that look in the 80s and occasionally will still do so.

TV shows and commercials have been doing this since the ‘90s and I’ve always wondered the same thing. Past the ‘90s, you don’t see the t-shirt/flannel combo IRL.

Are you still wearing those metallic looking crop tops? It's not a flattering look on you.

Why does this annoy you? Why do you care what other dudes are wearing.

I don’t know if a lot of dudes sport this look because what other dudes wear doesn’t even register for me.
