I think he’s better than Burrow. Cincy fricked up too, not as bad as the dolphins tho.

Herbert is great, but Chargers were a better team.
I can't see Herbert doing any better than Burrow in Cincy.
I can see Burrow doing just as well as a Charger. They are both great young QBs.

Go take a look at Burrows stats this year compared to Herbert.
Comparable, with a higher yards per attempt and completion percentage.
Prisoners of the moment. Burrow is playing well.

Herbert, imo, is on another level than Burrow is. Joe was hurt, so that should be somewhat expected. Joe can catch up if the injury doesn’t hamper him long term.

Herbert is certainly better right now but I think burrow is going to be very very good. Also there were red flags on Herbert so taking him 1.1 I think would have been an overdraft. Burrow was much safer pick and will turn out to be a great pick IMO. Miami is where the problem is. Tua had HUGE red flags of his own

Chargers have a playoff caliber roster. Bengals do not. Both might make the playoffs.

The Bengals are the Rockets drafting Hakeem Olajuwon and the Dolphins are the Trailblazers drafting Sam Bowie. Herbert has all time great potential but Burrow is at least very good while Tua blows donkey balls. Is Herbert better than Burrow? Yes but at least the Bengals got a franchise player and not a bum.
