Really don't want to spend $200 on the new airpods and the old ones I don't even think are comfortable. Any better options for cheaper?

I've tried a lot of the better-quality buds for music and most of them are unusable for business calls. AirPods, and particularly the pros, are the exception.

I'm pretty picky about SQ and I've never been impressed with anything Apple has done until the Airpod Pro Max on that topic, but the Airpod line is pretty solid for call quality.

I haven't found another bud that works very well. The Bose QuietComfort sounds like it's solid (haven't used) but it is no cheaper than Apple.

I have the google pixel buds and those are a good alternative to the AirPod pros, however, I’ve had people tell me that the pros sound better when talking to people on calls and such. Think the pixel buds sound a bit more tiney

Damn, I guess I’ll spring for the pros. Sound quality is massively important to me for these work calls. Pet peeve of mine when other people are hard to hear./decipher.

Thanks

I assume you need buds for video calls right? Because all of them, even the best, are just good/ok.

You can probably get Bose 700 over ears refurbed on Ebay (by bose) for around your price point and they're exceptional. Or the QC 35II for under 200. I still use QC35 I's at the office and they're much better than any true wireless buds (I assume if you could find them they'd be pretty cheap).

Just ordered the Jabra Elite 75T and should get them tomorrow. Will update afterwards. Regular $150 and picked them up for $99 through our company CDW discount.

I have Tozo T10 that I bought on Amazon for $24, and use them for phone calls and no quality issues with the microphone or anything.

I researched yesterday for what the military uses and it seems as though jl buds, bose (military applications),and ultimate ear were the first to come up. Consumertrustedratings.com says blx ear buds is the best overall out there @ $49.99 the only ones I can find anyone that has used and has good reviews on is bose. I guess its bose for me.

AirPod Pros. They are great especially with the noise cancelling and spatial audio. Now they have been updated this week to support amplification to work like hearing aids if you have hearing loss or heavy tinnitus.
