We need to have a coach we want identified and basically signed sealed and delivered before it goes down. I hate when we fire somebody and our search committee looks unprepared and then we in the end just settle for somebody that is just decent to fill the spot.

thats what they said about miles and then we got stuck with O
it definitely does matter, it matters a lot and they cant risk getting another screwup like O

In professional organizations, they have succession plans ready to go for top brass.
At LSU, they don't interview DCs. So, confidence that a plan exists for the biggest revenue generator on campus, the lifeblood of LSU athletics, is uncertain.

Agree. Woodward has a list of people he would like to talk to about the job. When and if he decides to fire Orgeron (if he hasn't already) he will begin contacting them through different channels, and he will have a firm agreement in place with the new coach. I just have no idea who it might be.

O must go. We still should respect the man though. Coach O has simply proven to everyone that he is not capable of getting the necessary recruits at OLine. What a terrible mess. He has two linemen from the 2019 team that won glory as the best team ever in college football on the 2021 team. We still look like sh*t there. The problem is not effort from the players. The problem is with the HC. Coach O tried and failed; we must wish him well on his way out of Baton Rouge. Hopefully, AD Woodward see the handwriting on the wall. The longer we delay the firing of Coach O the worst the team will be down the road. Get ready to pack Coach O. You have no one to blame but yourself. Have a great life…

Fans need to realize we may not get a home run.
It doesnt matter. What we NEED is a coach who can atleast get back to basics. You don’t go from a team who cant tackle and block to winning ships.
I can live with not being world beaters if everyone played sound football. I cant stand watching the mental mistakes, poor tackling, poor angles, poor blitz identification… the list goes on.
