To the surprise of absolutely no one, Bill Cassidy voted Yes with the Democrats on H.R.5305 - Extending Government Funding and Delivering Emergency Assistance Act. Why does this guy even have offices in Louisiana anymore?

quote:

This bill provides continuing FY2022 appropriations for federal agencies, suspends the debt limit, provides supplemental appropriations, and extends several expiring programs and authorities.

Specifically, the bill provides continuing FY2022 appropriations to federal agencies through the earlier of December 3, 2021, or the enactment of the applicable appropriations act.

It is known as a continuing resolution (CR) and prevents a government shutdown that would otherwise occur if the FY2022 appropriations bills have not been enacted when FY2022 begins on October 1, 2021. The CR funds most programs and activities at the FY2021 levels with several exceptions that provide funding flexibility and additional appropriations for various programs.

Does this mean we get hurricane support? Did Kennedy also vote for it? I saw 15 republicans did.

I just scanned his voting record and I’m chiming in to say

What in the actual frick is the Covid Hate Crimes Acr, and why on earth did he vote for this utter nonsense?

The dude has always been creepy AF - and is indicative of everything wrong with the Republican Party.

I remember when his creepy arse was running against Landrieu I got a fundraising call from the Rs.

I told them I would not send a dime until I knew they wouldn’t nominate Cassidy. Why does the GOP back these dipshits that hate their actual voters? Why?

Yet nearly all of you voted for him. And you all voted for JBE as well. Bright minds.

He's absolutely fricking worthless and Exhibit A for why the 17th Amendment was idiotic. In no way is he representing this state any longer. He's simply a rouge a-hole working for his next gig in 5 1/2 years.

Had a family member on the board of a PAC a few years back who had to meet with him in regards to a bill. Cassidy ended up voting against their interests because another PAC gave him more money. My family member told him, "so basically, you are just a high-end prostitute then?" He was removed from PAC leadership shortly after but has no regrets.

Yes, anyone can clearly see Cassidy has made the decision to 'while in DC and play the game you'll become monetarily rich`. He surely has embraced I'm here for the agenda and not the people....

I wish Fleming had won that seat. When Cassidy announced he was running, Fleming didn’t pursue it. Big loss for Louisiana.

I would argue his is 100% worse than Mary Landrieu. Landrieu voted against the Wall St. Bailout this limp wristed dufus would have voted for it.
