So I took advantage of the $1000 credit by getting a 13 Pro in exchange for my 11 Pro. My 13 arrived last week but I nothing came with it on directions of WTF I'm supposed to do with my 11 to get the $1000 credit. Anyone have any idea?

There will be a trade in website where you will need to request a label for your trade in. If you call customer service, they'll have no idea what you're talking about.

Found it

In the same situation. I think there was a note in the box with my phone that said they would mail the trade-in kit in 5 business days or so. IDK why they couldn't just ship them both together. Wish I could just leave it at the local AT&T store.

You should be getting a box to throw it in or the local ATT store should be able to take it.

Wow. I think that may be the best deal I’ve ever seen for AT&T. They usually require a new line of service instead of a trade in.

AT&T corporate locations will take your phone back. Authorized retailer locations won’t. Guy at AT&T told me this

Got mine last week for the Promax and did it in store. Wife did here’s through the mail but I’m not sure what she’s doing with her phone.

I paid the $5.00 a month to upgrade at 15 months because my phone probably won’t make it 30 months. My 11 pro I paid upfront for it and that’s the way I prefer to do it but AT&T won’t do that anymore. They said I could go to Apple but Apple would give me $500 vs the AT&T $1000 I break even with the $500 Apple would give me at 15 months so anything over that is a better deal for me. Once you upgrade you lose the $33.33 credit per month but they did mention something about calling customer loyalty and maybe they would add it back on but I doubt it.

I got 2 iPhone 13 pro max’s in today

1 of them had no paperwork in the box-only the phone
The other one had a flyer saying a return box for trade in will arrive within 10 business days

Edit: and phones shipped from 2 different locations. There may be some inconsistency with paperwork

I had been going the prepaid route for a few years to save on costs, but after Ida I found out that my plan was being throttled hard despite it being an “unlimited plan.”

Also, I found out that when the SHTF all carriers will go out regardless of provider. In Houma all providers from Big Red, Team Blue, and Magentites all failed at one time or the other. As services were restored, I noticed that AT&T’s data was streaming and working better than my prepaid plan from Straight Talk on Big Red’s network.

So when I saw the trade up program from AT&T, I decided to bite bullet on a new IPhone Pro Max 13 and upgrade from an SE I got last year. They are giving me 350 in credits for the phone which was what I paid for it at Walmart.
