Regarding Biden's use of IRS to invade citizen's privacy: relax it's just 2 tiny things...

That's it, guys.
Biden just wants to see everything that goes into your account and comes out of your account.
Some of y'all acting like he's a dick-tator or something.

I only got $350, so Joe can suck my salty balls

The government has no right to access and examine every financial transaction over $600.
If there is evidence of criminal activity, present that evidence to a court and a judge will rule whether it meets the threshold and is pertinent to a legal investigation for access to someone’s financial activity.
That is how the process used to work. That is how our freedoms and rights were protected from abuse by a powerful government.
All that now goes poof. Gone. Forever.
And no one (other than some of us here) seems to care or think its a big deal.
It’s bewildering to me.

Find a local bank that is willing to tel Biden to pound sand
Posted on 9/16/21 at 8:12 pm to xGeauxLSUx
How about a 10/10/10 tax and ditch the entire IRS. Everyone pays their fair share.

The local bank has no authority to tell the federal government to frick off.
The Feds have all the power and leverage over a small local bank, such as pulling their FDIC approval, for example.
There will be no stopping this once it is allowed.

Wrong. Not txns >= $600. All txns regardless of amount for any account with a balance of >= $600

People will pull their money

It will turn all banks into tools of the federal government.

Makes me wonder if a "bank run" is their actual goal.

I’m assuming there will be a court challenge for this at some point?
I mean, what was the actual justification the Biden administration used? I can’t see any situation where this is constitutional.

Hmmm quite an interesting spin.

They have been doing this for years for expats (those of us living abroad).
You have a form to comply with the fatca act, list all your bank accounts for them when you submit taxes.
Often wondered how many nigerian princes were looking at peoples account numbers floating around the IRS for every paper pusher to see.

It’s not Biden coming up with this shite. It’s those count behind the scenes like that bitch mouthpiece at the press conferences.

Yeah, just add them to:
1. Schools
2. Media
3. Medical Industry
4. Big Tech
Not an exhaustive list.

It’s a investigation searching for a crime and everyone is a suspect . Can you imagine taking cash out to go play the ponies or sneaking around and they pull a investigation on you 6 months later and need to recall you every move ? Credit or debit cards while convenient aren’t always usable as Hurricane Ida just showed with electric outages everywhere

There is approximately 1.3 trillion dollars in cash available in the banking systems if I recall . If people got nervous, and this would cause such a thing , there would be a cash shortage in no time . 330 million people hoarding cash would dry up the bank availability. Banks would lose their asses off

Which may be the intention if the idea is to replace private banking services with government banking services.
Which then becomes a HUGE issue because you can leave private banks if they frick you over. A government monopoly bank means you have to bend over and take it unless you go crypto or go offshore with some bank still able to pay domestically.
