How did the culture start then? People didn't try to justify sleeping around until someone with enough power and influence justified it and made it culturally popular. The behavior of our youth directly follows the Demi Lovato's of the world.
Sexuality only became taboo recently in human history. Not sure why you think you have the moral high ground here...
Just kidding, I know exactly why you think you do.

You can't call sex a meaningless physical act that's impossible to deny and then expect someone to take the consequences of that act seriously.
I didn't do that but you are naive if you think you are going to stop it. I am not saying cheer it on. I am saying as a parent teach them.

And, like you, I'm sure he had no issues with the popstars she idolized. It's funny if he thinks the culture in which she grew up had nothing to do with her behavior.
Actually, not at all. They were very strict on her which made her make more and more rebellious choices. I am not saying they should have let her run wild but I am glad my parents taught me balance. Of course, I was the baby of 3 and my parents had learned from their previous issues with older siblings. In my friends case, the daughter is the older sibling.

This might be a shocker but teenagers have sex. The best thing you can do is educate them about sexual responsibility yourself.

Even high class call girls experience high rates of suicide and depression.
It should be legal, but anyone encouraging it among young women is retarded.
outside of the US there isn't so much, if any, stigma attached to charging for sex, you see "normal" girls do it in times of need, you see "hookers" dating their clients, it's just not that big of a deal to them, especially in South America

FYI, people have always slept around. Why do you think they call prostitution the world's oldest profession? Sexual promiscuity just wasn't openly spoken about like it is now and a lot of that has to do with social media.

Well, in Southeast Asia and South America, many of those are underaged.
Even in Europe, the depression rate among sex workers is over 70%
Its not a healthy profession.

in the US we just substitute money for gifts and nice dinners
or you add a camera to the mix and somehow get it classified as art.

Even after 60 years of “sexual revolution”, not all teenagers have sex.
One way to greatly increase the chances your daughter has sex is to let her know you don’t care if she does.

You think 16 year olds weren’t getting before pop stars existed?
I never said that, but 16 year Olds were much different before the age of popstars. That's undeniable but it also wasn't celebrated and people didn't tell girls it was a good thing and women typically slept with very few men and most they'd eventually marry. Not this age of onlyfans and tinder.
The marriage rates and marital longevity of promiscuous women, is undeniably very very bad. The effects a stable marriage has on the raising of children is also very very strong. Children do better in married households far better than even divorced parents.
So when you say you support demi Lovato's "philosophy" what you're really saying is I support promiscuity and broken women that lead to broken children that lead to broken adults.
The links between promiscuity-marriage, and child rearing is very very strong.

It's not even taboo in other parts of the world. Europe has naked women in regular TV ads. Sexualizing breast to the degree we do is a very American thing.

I've dabbled here. The worst humans imaginable are in the porn industry.

Some of the most notorious whores on college campuses come from the strictest households.

You think young girls should follow that advice? The advice of a sexually damaged Hollywood entertainment figure? Would you marry a girl that has thrown herself into sexual activity like that?
nobody wants their daughter to follow that advice. But in the end its none of my fricking business if someone does if they are an adult.
i think both hollywood and social media are vile and contrary to traditional american values, but there is this thing called freedom and you should not restrict it. Starting down that path is how we have gotten to the point that the government is telling private businesses what to do. (i am vaxed btw, still wrong government policy)

I think this is a bit overstated at allegedly how accepted this is in Asia. Where outside of Thailand and maybe a few shady areas of Vietnam do you think they are just pimping out children?

whil i agree with everything you said....dont restrict freedom atleast from a government standpoint. Like fatties they should be shamed though, publically.

Yes, Prostitution existed heavily in many societies that faded into oblivion in the dustbin of history.
As I said, historically it's not even remotely the same as it is now. Women routinely died in childbirth in an age with little to no access to contraception, so I seriously doubt it's anywhere close to what it is now. Women hardly even met many males outside of their direct family over the course of their lifetime to begin with.
The comparison to modern day is simply bonkers.
