Thermacell not staying lit

Never had the issue, and I’ve dropped thermacells in water, left it in rain, etc. Still using the old ones though.

Have you tried a new bottle, or reseating the bottle?

its getting airflow and not gunked up with mud or anything?

Does anyone use a Theramcell while hunting deer? Does the scent spook them?

At the end of the day you’re troubleshooting a Chinese lighter that costs $20. Id take it back to academy and see if they’ll exchange it, or just buy a new one. Hell the pads/bottle that come in the box with one are almost worth what they charge for the whole thing, and that’s where they’re actually making money.
