So, if an oil company LOSES money, it should still pay INCOME tax???

And, I can guarantee you that the oil company is paying MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more in property taxes than this teacher who works 9 months out of the year.

I’m sure the oil companies pay nothing in payroll taxes for the thousands of employees they have to stimulate the economies of the world and provide the ability to climate control our buildings, operate our cars, etc.

How much does a teacher with children pay in taxes? Cannot be that much with the standard deduction and the child tax credit.
