Max isn't the ONLY problem is more accurate.

We need the running game to open up the passing game. That's how football games are won! I've never witnesses a team win big without a running game. I’m sorry or I'm stupid, but Peetz is woefully unqualified to run an efficient offense. The shite product on the field wouldn't be tolerated at the HS level. Maybe he’s holding back, I doubt it, but if this is his offense in all its glory, we’re fricked!

He is one part of many problems

He's a sophomore and we’re asking way too much to expect him to be Burrow like.

Brennan would not be faring much better. We all witnessed that with Nuss at qb. Last week 50% of this board wanted home to be starting qb. He didn't look that great from what I saw.

Anyone wanna mention how bad our receivers are except for Boutte? We dropped the ball all last season and it still continues. Funny how local media props these guys up so much in the off-season as the greatest thing ever and they crumble.

I think what is being said is that our pitiful oline play demands a different kind of playmaker at the QB position. I will always say that if Max had protection and a running game, he is probably our best qb but sadly we have neither, so another kind of QB style is needed. It may not work either, but we know the one we have now with Max isn't going to win an SEC game, so we had better try something else and the sooner the better.

we have no offensive identity

Having zero down field threat will do that.

We still can’t run the ball. Too many WRs drops, we have no offensive identity, the offense lacks consistency, defense still allowing big plays.

CEO better fix it before MSU!

Dont know what game you are watching but he is lost back there.

As predicted the narrative from the Max worshipers has completely flipped on its head. How many threads like this are we gonna have today?

Max is absolutely one of the problems...

- Holds the ball too long, which makes the OL look even worse
- Misses wide open receivers
- Extremely inaccurate
- Cannot throw the ball down the field
- Cannot get the play called quick enough because he has to be spoon fed

I consider these issues problematic. The opposing teams are very happy that he is the starter

He does not help. He is an average QB right now, does not mean he will not improve. But he is not the truth everyone thinks he is right now.
