Jesus. Not this crap again. HIPAA doesn’t enter into the conversation. You have control over who gets your medical information. If you choose to provide it to someone then you can do so with no legal repercussions. HIPAA only says that your medical providers and their business partners who might have access to your Protected Health Information cannot disclose your PHI without your consent.

I said you’re good from the drivethrough, but curbside is touch and go as some places will still demand proof of vaccination. The fact that any would require it at all is absurd, especially for one just picking up take-out.

There were some businesses in East Portland doing it two weeks ago without anything being mandated by local government. I used the picture of my "card" on my cell phone to get in as I was curious to try it out, but I'm sure there are things in the works to verify legitimacy soon.
