Get that lump biopsied ASAP. Not to scare you, but your symptoms are identical to mine. Diagnosed with Hodgkin's 17 years ago.
If you have to get cancer, it's a good one. They have the protocol down. I had 6 months of chemo and been fine ever since. The ABDV regimen wasn't fun, but not as bad as most.

I had an itch on my ankles. Almost like poison ivy. Fever. And i had large tumors in my chest (mediastinum) it turns out, so was dry coughing uncontrollably without roids and albuterol inhaler. Then drenching night sweats shortly before diagnosis. Like an unbelievable amount of sweat. Bone pain. Turns out i had large lesions in femur. And a tumor in my lung.
In retrospect, it seems insane they took so long to diagnose.
I didn't have any nodes i could feel though. Actually that's not entirely true. I wasn't drinking alcohol during this illness, but then i got the results of my bronchoscopy (another issue--one pulmonologist wanted to crack open my chest for biopsy) on New Year's Eve, had one drink and immediately had sore (often/usually(?) lymphoma nodes aren't sore) nodes under jaw, but those weren't even cancerous. I read that's typical reaction to alcohol.
Eta: this shite sounds scary, but the good news is, I ran and worked out during chemo. Ran a half marathon two weeks out of treatment.

Just get the vaccine. I hear it apparently solves everything.

OK to worry. Not OK to avoid seeing doctor. You need real doctor answers, not WebMD. Use some of those smarts all Ole Miss people claim to have and get your butt to the doctor.

I stated in the OP I’m seeing the doc tomorrow.

Seeing doctor tomorrow. Go to Church tonight or spend some time talking to the Man from your knees. Your symptoms can point to several really bad problems.

If you do have it, it is not the end of the world.
My itching was lower legs and the back of my neck mostly. My lump was on the left side of neck just below jawbone.
Just like McLemore, I worked, worked out, traveled, etc. I would get treatment every other Thursday. In the beginning, it didn't affect me much. Towards the end of the six months, Friday wasn't great and Saturday sucked. Sense of taste was off, but I didn't lose my hair, even grew a beard for the first time. I gained weight during. I craved carbs. I think that was related to the pre chemo steroids you get to fight nausea. I never had a problem with that.

That Dexamethasone sucked. Wanted to crawl out of my skin. Then the first couple days after it wore off were blah. Never puked. My hair turned curly and actually thickened temporarily. The taste thing is real. I tasted and smelled chemicals in everything.

Get off the internet. I have immune issues, and have itching, sweats, and my glands hurt. DO NOT get stressed out about something until check out and you have data. Nothing you can do tonight. Grab a drink and chill. No internet.

It could be anything. Get a good nights rest. I doubt it’s lymphoma or else you would have significant muscle loss

Yes. Go to an EENT pronto. High survival rates of caught early. I have last treatment tomorrow and cancer undetectable on scan after 3d treatment. Don’t eff around. Might be nothing, but you’ll kick yourself if you blow it off. good luck.

20 year Hodgkins survivor. First- trust yourself and your body. I say that because I was misdiagnosed twice. I had a lump the size of half a golf ball in my groin. I did have night sweats. What got me was I was eating like crazy and not gaining weight. Best of luck. Chris McCanless is my oncologist and love him.

Man, I know you’re scared shitless….but you are doing the right thing to go and see your doctor. Tomorrow night at this time, you’ll likely be laughing at yourself for worrying so much.
ETA: I doubt you are seeing a doctor in Tunica….if they send you to Jackson, let me know.

I have CLL. Had weird symptoms for over a year before it was diagnosed in 2015.

That is almost exactly the symptoms that I had. I finally went to the doctor and he sent me to an ENT after his exam. The ENT did an excision of the little mass under my jawline and it turned out to be Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma. Stage IV as it had already spread to my thoracic and pulmonary regions as well as forming lesions on my kidneys and pancreas. NEVER felt sick or poorly and wouldn’t have known until to late except for the know u see my jaw.
I took chemo (CHOP/R) every 3 weeks for half a year. One infusion lasted about 8-9 hours as an outpatient procedure at my oncologists office.
Was declared in remission after the 3rd treatment and no cancer cells were detectable after the entire cycle. I was good for 9 months and then it relapsed and the 2nd time was much tougher and aggressive treatment. Hyper CVAD and radiation that culminated with a stem cell transplant. They gave me a 35% survival prognosis and 8 lived over 70 days as inpatient at Emory during the 5 month period.
This was 10 years ago when I was 41. Still here and doing well.
