Dave Aranda can’t recruit
Joe Brady would rather be in the NFL
Kiffin would be a go unless he feels some type of loyalty to O
Campbell is interesting, but he’s had offers to leave and hasn’t
Napier I assume would leave, but he did turn down Auburn last year

Aranda is a defensive guru. You never have to worry about the defense with him here. He has been in Louisiana and the south and has recruiting connections and name recognition albeit he reportedly doesn’t like recruiting. He is a steady force that would exhibit calm.
Pj fleck has never been a coordinator. He relies entirely on emotions and hype. Aka Ed O. He’s Ed O that has never been in nor recruited the south. Hard pass

Napier has some pretty specific demands apparently. I don’t think auburn was willing to give him what he wanted.

Napier told auburn they were not going to tell him who he could have and not have on his staff.
If he learned one thing from Saban, don't give in to demands. He left millions on the table for that reason. I respect that

Great guy and a great coach. The LSU job is a little too big for him right now, but he will be the guy at a big program sooner than later.
The short list should be imo:
Fisher (make him say no)
Campbell
Napier
Traylor
All of those would be really good hires for LSU.
