My sister is a pharmacist for CVS. I will ask her and get back to y’all. I highly doubt this is company policy and is just some rouge pharmacists. They can refuse to fill a med and are not obligated to fill it.

The FDA has informed pharmacists that MAY NOT fill Ivermectin for Covid. Nationwide. I k is a big pharmacy group in S Louisiana just send all of their ivermectin back.
They want you to get the jab or the Covid. And don’t care about what happens to you.

Yes they can, but it's rare. I've seen it a zero independent pharmacies. Only issues with chains. Walgreens most notably, we don't have a CVS within two hours.

Did they release the study proving their findings? How long did they study it? How did they get away with only giving some COVID patients a placebo?
Amazing how many of y’all became studied on pharmaceutical research and trials all of the sudden, to the point where you know more than the CDC and the pharmaceutical manufacturers.

The original manufacturer of Ivermectin came out and said it wasn’t safe
When did it become unsafe? Hasn't it been in use for decades? What harm does it cause to the patient that has people so concerned about them taking it?

Should be criminal
No. They should be able to refuse to fill prescriptions they feel are unsafe/illegal. But they need to be consistent. It's one hundred percent within their right.

So it won the Nobel Prize in 2015 for its use in humans and now it is not safe ….sounds like the manufacturer has another more expensive therapeutic they are pushing instead.

The La Board of Pharmacy sent out a email last week stating they had been requested by the Department of Health to remind pharmacist that pharmacist had a obligation to question the validity of ivermectin scripts for a legitimate approved use. The pharmacist are caught in the middle. Do I follow company policy or do I risk my license and livelihood. Also, ivermectin has increased in price to the point that most insurances pay below acquisition. I personally took it and was feeling better within 24 hours minus the cough and no taste/smell.

My doctor has been trying to Escribe my script to CVS for a couple days. My script is not going thru. My doctor tried to phone it in, but she can’t get the script to go thru that way either. The doctors office is not open to go get a hand written script.
What do I do to get my medicine that I need?

All they have to do is counsel the patient and document it. That's what my wife does and it's my prescriptions usually. I'll take the heat. IDGAF. I counsel the pt and document. Pt chooses whether or not to take it. Weird how they don't do this with anything else, except the occasional controlled substance. The pharmacist has ways to cover themselves.
My partner refuses to write it. His loss. He don't mind writing the shite out of diet pills, but balks at Ivermectin and HCQ. No logic. People are going to take it. The least I can do is make sure they dose it safely. It's as safe or safer than 99.99% of shite we write everyday.
Pharmacies that refuse it usually lose the pt for good. Let'em. We've had no push back from the medical board here. And it's not like we are forgoing other treatments. I took it and rolled right through it. My dad didn't and died. We were only 16 years apart. Can't say it made a shite's difference, but I can't say it didn't. I can say remdesivir doesn't do shite and most likely makes it worse yet I there is no outcry about giving that expensive shite.

We’ve lost our collective minds over covid.
And people thought Q was the big psyop.
Pharmacies arent filling scripts for Ivermetcin because people actually need it for things other than covid and cant get it ya jaggoffs

It’s not their role to interfere with a doctor’s treatment regimen because they disagree with it.
That is actually exactly their job, to check the doctor on what they prescribe to ensure there are no interations. You think they get paid 6 figures to count pills?

Actually- Pharmacists are health care providers- they can ask and see your chart.
A good pharmacist will review and make sure there are no other conflicts with other meds, etc. in some cases they may be able to refuse to fill - but I think what their professional ethics would require them to do is talk to the doc and understand his logic. I don’t think an off label recommendation is sufficient to override the MD, or sufficient basis to refuse to fill unless they know it will have some bad results when mixed with another drug you’re taking or the dosage is higher than tolerable or something.
Louisiana either attempted to change the regs or actually did change them in response to opioid issues (like the documentary - the Pharmacist).
But as others have said. The best thing to do with everything from Pharmacies to Banks - is stay local.

A buddies mom got some from latin America in a small liquid bottle. Not sure how that's taken. He said his mom was told of some Mexican store somewhere that sells it, so he's waiting for her to find out where to get stocked up.
It’s funny reading stuff like this. You’re willing to get some black market liquid “ivermectin” from Latin America but don’t want the vaccine because “I want to know what’s going into my body”

This has nothing to do with what I said. I suggest you reread. I said because they disagree with the treatment regimen. That’s not their call nor role.
