Mike Cooper has had a deer in the headlights look since day one. I'm not saying I could do any better but I didn't run for the office, he did.

I could certainly give better press conferences than he does, and I suck at public speaking.

He comes off as unprepared and unaware - if he's got a hold on things, it isn't translating in those press conferences.

The Entergy customers on Brewster and East of 1085 on 22 have power.

WSTE near HWY 1088 doesn't sound promising - at least in my neighborhood...

What have you heard about a timeline? I'm WSTE south of 1088. All of the lines are still down on the road/in yards.

Another reason is in another thread with a message from Ponchy saying all of the Entergy trucks shifted to Jefferson Parish before coming back

Hard to say but I've heard a week out for people in that area.

Since the electrical companies notoriously under-sell/over-deliver, I would guess maybe sometime this weekend we'll be back.

I've heard some people in the Soult street area have power and are WSTE customers, but it depends on your substation currently.

I live in the area too and I haven’t seen one damn WSTE truck. Cleco and Entergy are all over the damn place.

I thought the same thing. I was listening to Greg Cromer (Slidell Mayor) he was surprisingly sharp. Cooper sounded like Blanco after Katrina.

WST people south of 1088 around Soult should check for power.

I’m seeing FB posts that it was just restored for some.

Not WSTE. Most of the neighborhood is serviced by Cleco. I was hoping that after they cleared all of the debris off of the lines yesterday I would see WSTE bucket trucks today. No such luck.

WSTE customer here, power back on about 3:30 on Section Road. That’s North of Covington proper, between Barkers Corner and Folsom (Hwy 437/40).
