Where else do you get entire halves of games being played almost exclusively by guys who will not only be cut but won’t be on ANY opening day roster?

Teams should simply hold several open practices with other teams through training camp and the weeks leading up to the season. Less injury risk, just as informative for coaches in terms of who they should keep and we don’t have to waste broadcast time on this nonsense.

Is there some maximum broadcast time you’re worried about crossing or something?

Just don’t watch. Who gives a shite

I enjoy the hell out of preseason football

Just keeping up with the rookie QBs is entertaining by itself

Then they couldn’t charge season ticket holders face value for two additional games…basically a season ticket holder tax

I think they should have two games. One game for starers, one game for players trying to make the team.

No need for four fricking games.

It’s good for the teams to get some practice in a live scrimmage. But for fans it’s not very exciting

And they give the tickets to their employees. Everybody wins, especially the owners!

I always find something that makes ot interesting. This year was how good Kylin Hill is and how much of a steal he was in the 7th

True, but you’d be surprised how much they cost now. The average price is in the $50 range, and you could pay in excess of $100 to see a team like the Yankees...and they play 28 games in spring training. That’s a whole lot of money to see guys who may be playing A ball during the season
