It's obvious China bought most of the politicians and business leaders throughout the world.
They are slowly boiling all of the people.
At some point, China will move on Taiwan. It'll either be the spark... or it will embolden them to greater acquisitions.
Either way, I don't see China bending the knee.
You'll need strong, nationalistic leadership from the west... and alliances in the middle east/russia/Asia pacific to thwart their efforts.
You can't underestimate 1.6B people.
They are slowly boiling all of the people.

But Xi is a huge nerd as well. He’s actually a very cultured individual who understands American and European culture very well. It’s why he’s pissed when he’s compared to Winnie the Pooh. He thinks that makes him look weak. Sauron is Xi Jinping’s fictional idol. He’s well aware who he is and seeks his similar domination over the world.

While I get high somewhat often, it’s hard not to read what the Belt and Road Initiative is and not think of The One Ring. It’s intentions are the same purpose as the Ring. Xi is a nerd and very aware of the power of stories and fantasy and made it a central part of his administration. And think of it: “Belt” and “Ring”. What’s really the difference? I could wear a belt largely made of materials you could make a ring of. It could outright be a pun by him in reference to The One Ring. His archenemy the Japanese Prime Minister called him Sauron for a reason. He’s probably made the same connection I have.

Xi Jinping is a huge film and literature nerd. Not in the same way Kim Jong Il was, but if I was a world leader and he knew my film taste, that’s where he’d try to keep the conversation until the threats. He has an extremely refined taste in film that I largely agree with. That’s how he comes off personable to people, and when talking he tends to use film and literature in references.
If there’s anything Xi Jinping understands, it’s the power of a strong story. It’s the myth and the legend, and that’s how Xi keeps his power. Xi is actually an exceptionally warm individual until the point he isn’t. His tactics are largely opposite from Putin.
