Tyler, the unvaccinated have three choices: 1. Get tested before game 2. Not go at all 3. Get vaccinated. My guess is that 1 and 2 happen WAY more than 3. I don't think this moves the needle on getting people vaccinated. People are entrenched and these strong arm tactics make them more entrenched.
I 100% agree it won’t move the needle much.
But you’re missing a 4th option if they don’t institute some sort of system to combat it. Just show a fake vaccine card. I think that will happen the most.
It’s also why they’re not allowing rapid test. The pcr take longer. Often more than three days. All it is, is a coop ploy between JBE and LSU to push vaccines. It just won’t work too well overall.

Because it’s illegal to keep them chained up in their homes, and away from all other people.
Maybe they are looking for a compromise, and saying only vaccinated fans being allowed in is too much of a stretch. Going with the only vaccinated being let in is the better option, though.
This virus isn’t going away anytime in the near future, and booster shots will be with us for a long time. I advised both my 80 year old parents to get the booster last week, and neither had any side effects. Serious side effects occur in the first 3 days, and beyond that there is no effect.

A REAL nostradamus here. 3days post vaxx and you are good to go eh?
God help us. Bottom line is NOBODY knows the long term effects of mass vaxxing millions of people with these experimental therapies. Nobody.
If someone says otherwise they are flat lying to you.

It's because the policy has nothing to do with trying to limit the spread of COVID. The policy is meant to push vaccinations.

What's amazing is how so many ignorant know it all dumbassas are so dismissive of medical science. When over 95% of doctors and nurses get the vaccine, you would think it would tell you something. But dumbasses around here are smarter than them right? By the way, if you get the vaccine there's a small chance that you could still get covid but your immune system will handle it better. It's not a fricking conspiracy. But you people would rather bitch and complain and act like a big fricking pussy over a vaccine
And yes, thousands of Louisiana people EVERY DAY are getting vaccinated. And THAT is why the numbers are going down. But you fricks will just believe what you want anyway. FACT.
YOU are the dumbest person on the planet- Vaccinated people catch and can spread COVID- Hope you dont end of in ICU when youtake your useless booster

There is a far more straightforward explanation: The policy helps mitigate the public health risks without giving up ticket revenue. Occam's Razor and all that. No conspiracy theory required for this to make sense.

I just want to know why vaccinated people don't need to get tested to enter the stadium. Everyone I know that has caught COVID in the last month were vaccinated. And since studies have shown that the viral load in infected vaccinated people is the same as that in infected unvaccinated people, why are vaccinated people getting a pass here?

You conflated the vaccine with the experimental therapy talking point.

It’s not truly about the spread or stop of the spread. It is about the political ploy of forcing as many heads as possible to submit to the will and the political agenda and go get vaccinated. It’s about breaking people’s will and strength of their individuality.

When the Red Chinese Flu hit, J. Bel closed the Doctor's offices preventing sick people from being treated but kept the Hock Shops and Liquor Stores open!!!!
That is Science???????????????????

I’m typically not a conspiracy theorist but this is absurd simply because the third and most obvious option is missing. Proof of a past positive test or antibodies thus proving previous infection. This third choice easily outweighs the other options BY FAR regarding safety to the general population. The ONLY population who we are not seeing hit the ER door is the previously infected. Why is this not recognized? Suspicious indeed.

I received the shots earlier this year and would be more than happy to get a test just to prove that I don't have it. I'll do that before every home game if need be. I have no issue with doing so.
