Kid has had a slow start in training camp and is now looking rough in preseason.

He has 3 drops all on 3rd down 2 of which that would have been 1st downs. Here’s a quote from the young man.

quote:

The first couple of days I wasn’t doing so well. Of course. I kept pushing forward.

Me sitting out that year, I’m not going to be so fast getting back to my normal self. It’s all mental. It’s all mental right now.”

I love the player and I’m very grateful for what he did but the bengals didn’t draft you top 5 for you to take your time getting right and shaking off rust.

Moral of the story- don’t quit. You’re a ball player. Play ball.

I hope he gets it together for Joes sake.

If Terrace doesn’t quit and hes the one that goes nuts on Ole Miss and has a big game vs Florida then he’s likely a first rounder

You’re right. Someone should have told him not to quit too.

He’s flashing a ton of talent now and if he would have done it before the draft more and proved he could stay healthy for a full season he would have went late first

Terrace’s contract is worth 5.7 million
Rashod Bateman who went 28th has a 12.6 million dolls contract

Thanks for proving my point- he quit and lost literally millions.

Quitting doesn’t pay off kids.

He said he had covid and struggled with asthma last year.

Lots of reps before now and 1st week. He’ll be just fine.

Cinci fans are thinking they should have gone with the Lineman instead.

You guys can downvote me all you want. I know he won the Biletnikoff and had 20 TDs due to him only catching deep balls, but in terms of a pure all-around receiver I always thought he was 3rd on the 2019 team.

For the last time, he didn’t quit! He would have missed 6 games anyway.

I mean that’s exactly what preseason games are for

his medicals are why he fell. staying increased the risk of an actual injury. staying healthy wouldn't have mattered with his medicals

not playing was the smart move

Maybe #24 should heed this warning.

Oh, I can hear you now....but he's hurt and too valuable.

Maybe you should watch what Saban had to say about that TE at Alabama dropping down the depth chart due to COVID protocols.

He ain't so valuable if he won't practice with his team.

Michah Parsons didn’t play in 2020 & he’s balling out for the Cowboys.

People on this board love to tell college kids what they should or should not do. So stupid
