The have a Temple not far from my house. I’ve thought about paying them a visit to learn more about their religion and way of life. Every single story I have ever read about the Sikhs is about peace, love, forgiveness, and helping others. Isn’t that what it’s supposed to be what matters?

Well at least it's not an Ecoboost and the engine grenade in typical fashion.

As long as they don't break it, I'm OK with the dealer pushing my car pretty hard. Complain about the performance of your BMW to a real German BMW tech and he'll wring it out good for sure before giving it back.

Yeah. Blasting it up to 148 isn't going to hurt a thing.

Typical performance car customer though. The tech drove it harder than he ever will.

What happened to the tech that took the car out for a joyride?

Can't imagine that not being a fireable offense and immediately walked off the premises.

I can’t believe I didn’t get fired for the stunt I pulled. That car was fast!

Man, I want a car with a built-in dashcam/data recorder with valet mode.

I've gone car shopping at those dealerships. As you can see early in the video, the dealers are near these long surface streets with very few traffic lights. A lot of street racing goes on there.

From the dealer perspective the issue isn't so much that the tech briefly reaching 148 mph per se (in a car designed to go much faster), the problem is that the tech was driving extremely recklessly and an accident would have been a huge liability for the dealer. I can't imagine he kept his job.

The owner got a really sweet deal out of a minor incident, unless everyone feels that taking a C8 to 148 mph is abusive to the engine.

Time was, you'd get spider webs in the secondaries of your carburetor.

I guess the modern, GDI equivalent is crud filling up your upper intake manifold.

That's the damn truth.

You never meet anyone who drove Japanese cars for years and years and then bought a Chevy and was converted. Now, as far as the opposite is concerned...

When the customer got the car back, he discovered that the car's Performance Data Recorder (PDR) valet mode had recorded one of the dealer's techs taking the car for a spin after completing the work.

That's because they will sell his vetter for thousands more than they sold it to him for.

Smart move by the manager

Sikhs are good people. They’re extremely hard working and give back to the communities they live in. You can go to their religious temples and get free food regardless of your religion with no pressure or awkwardness.

Most came to the country with nothing and have built wealth on the basis of grit and determination. Model citizens in many ways.

Ralph, good taste in avatar and sig pics. Haven't seen NS in quite a while.

Yes. She is a legend. I would say the greatest porn star who had a short career. She is the most intriguing star of that era. Beautiful girl from the golden age. She still has a lot of fans.

She is alive and well. She married a rich guy and retired from the biz and doesn't want to be bothered. They say you can see how she looks now via facebook pictures that her son has posted. I wish I knew how to search, but I respect her privacy. Her life story would make a good film. This is her in a non-porn photo.
