When I was there I’m ‘94,’95 Ricks was the director. I played trombone and believe we were around 32-35 both years. Seem like we had more trumpets though than now. Close to 50. Wonder if the trumpet section still has the wooden fish board. 30 tubas is a good number.

Congrats to all who made it! I wasn’t in the band but had some friends who were that got me in to a couple band parties. Those were some of the wildest nights of my time at LSU.

The band will march to tiger stadium Saturday @18:00 but stadium will be closed to the public. As per Dr Jones.

This was the case before covid as well, though i really don't understand the reasoning behind it. God forbid you let parents go inside for an hour.

Someone sponsor NIL for all the clarinet players for bikini photo shoot. Larry? Pretty sure morals clauses are no longer a thing anymore for band participation.

Shoot I was a saxophone player and got the scholarship that paid out of state fees exclusively for non-music majors. It was great, got the monthly stipend too
