Did y’all watch the games last year?? The Oline was HORRIBLE and we have those same guys back.
This isn't the NFL where a team full of 29 year olds isn't going to get better the following season when they're all 30 years of age. 22 year olds are expected to improve from when they're 21. If they haven't then that's on Brad Davis.

Same issues as last year. LT and RG are the weak links.

Just because Davis likes to scream at the OL in practice doesn’t mean these guys are all in a sudden going to be good players. Shanahan and Hines were not good last year. Deculus, Wire and Ingram were ok, but Wire couldn’t beat out Dare which tells a lot.
I love the depth on the DL, but I am not sure there is an all sec player in that group. I hope I am wrong and maybe Gaye or Anthony have taken a huge step forward.

If Gaye takes a modest step forward he’s all SEC

The OLine and TE positions are going to keep this team from being a true contender

Defense is always ahead of offense in first scrimmage.

Fortunately our QB, Max, is such a good runner/scrambler.
Wasn't that the story all summer.

How do you know we have an issue at the tackle position? Did you watch the scrimmage today? Meanwhile, there is an article on 247 talking about the growing confidence in the offensive line. Very apparently, you spend all your time on this site vilifying Ed O, his coaching staff, and the offensive line, as opposed to reading and to listening to what the insiders who have watched the practices are saying, and they are saying that finally Brad Davis is developing good depth. A few of the names mentioned have been Charles Turner is looking good, Anthony Bradford is looking good, and Garrett Dellinger is also looking good. Hell, a few insiders are also saying flash, Kardell Thomas is even looking like he has improved. As they are saying he looks to be far more consistent with what he is doing. Indeed, your whole point is to blame Ed O and even though he finished in the top-five in national recruiting for the past three years in a row.

Moreover, there isn't anything wrong with this 2022 offensive line recruiting haul so for and LSU isn't even finished yet. Come on down Julian Armella.

Max isn't even remotely in a place to start calling his own plays and blocking schemes. We were spoiled Burrow did that out the gate in 2018.

I don't believe any of the fluff 24/7 posts because that's all it is is puff pieces.

Dellinger now may be out the whole year...
So your only backups worth anything are Bradford and Tunrer (and btw Sonny said Turner needs to prove things because he flat out didn't last year) so not sure where you saw the positive reactions to him specifically.

Brad Davis will certainly earn his paycheck this year.

But it's absolutely terrifying and inexcusable we have no quality depth at all on the Oline and that falls squarely on O

Nice to see some people never change. Consistency. Don't go a day without informing the world the sky is falling.

Eventually you'll be right. Someday.

Name quality back ups we have on the Oline right now?

Bradford? Turner?

There's nothing wrong with being realistic.

Adrian Magee made the Saints practice squad and Deculus and Ingram are still on LSU’s team.

That was a GREAT offensive line! If you still don’t believe it, watch this 40 minutes of dominating Alabama’s defensive line.

Reported that Dellinger dislocated his shoulder. Usually means labrum surgery.
