Again, this is subjective.
quote:
completely subjective,
Facts:
quote:
After reading Shelby Steele's excellent Dec. 18 essay "American Conservatism: Of Race and Imagination" we felt compelled to respond to the popular misconception that "conservatism, for all its commitment to freedom, did not make itself the principled enemy of racism during the civil-rights era." With a little research, the actual voting record for both Houses of Congress shows that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 passed the Senate on a 73-to-27 vote. The Democratic supermajority in the Senate split their vote 46 (69%) for and 21 (31%) against. The Republicans, on the other hand, split their vote 27 for (82%) and 6 against (18%). Thus, the no vote consisted of 78% Democrats. Further, the infamous 74-day filibuster was led by the Southern Democrats, who overwhelmingly voted against the act.
quote:
An examination of the House vote shows a similar pattern. The House voted 290 to 130 in favor. Democrats split their vote 152 (61%) to 96 (39%) while Republicans split theirs 138 (80%) to 34 (20%). The no vote consisted of 74% Democrats. Clearly, the 1964 Civil Rights Act could not have been passed without the leadership of Republicans such as Everett Dirksen and the votes of Republicans. As the online Wall Street Journal so aptly subtitled Mr. Steele's article, "Trent Lott jeopardizes the very productive ideas his party stands for."
and you conclude:
quote:
it was the Democrats that passed the bill (as Democrats controlled both the Senate and the House).
And with all their numerical advantage, it would have failed without the real heroes led by Dirkson - who, by the way, had been pursuing this fight long before the national democrats found out that they had to resort to mindless propaganda for future success, and needed an uneducated, irresponsible block of unthinking votes to do it.
I think it is amusing that Robert Byrd became the "conscience of the Senate" and was lauded by Biden himself (who had a great fondness for ALL the racist southern Democrats) and the saintly Hillary Clinton (just an evil soul)
Methinks you are just another brainwashed soy boi - soaking up all the gutter think of the DEM ideology without question. My 13 yr old great grandson has a greater investigative capacity than you.
yep that is my subjective opinion.

I am simply telling you that trade war was about American banks and multinational companies doing business in China.
That is just the facts.
You can believe what ever you want.

Trump absolutely wasn't respected. I'm not sure where this idea that he was respected is coming from. Most people internationally thought he was a joke and America had gone crazy.
Respect does not equal to being buddy/buddy dipshat. International folks knew Trump was packing and even if they did not 'like' him that was irrelevant. Europe and G7 for example love the new stance of our admin as they can get more of what they wish for at America's expense. Again, Dipshat.

Oh bullshite. I don't care what these wannabe dictators said when they were talking to themselves, but they respected the man. He said he was for "America First" - and woe be he that gets in the way of that. They could have whined like little spoiled toddlers when they were commiserated with their US DEM fellow cowards, but he accomplished things on the world stage that was universally good for the USA and for any freedom loving people.
And he was able to do that because nobody 'owned' him. He was free to stand or fall based on his own terms - and his "terms" were always for the benefit of patriotic American population. Quite unlike any member of the DEMocrat party, none of whom have a spine and have to hide behind the misery of every splinter group they can assemble and impoverish.
I would not want Trump as a neighbor, a relative, son-in-law, personal friend, but I damned sure slept better at night knowing he was in charge of keeping our nation free and independent. But the more I have learned about him, the more those reticences have eroded. Especially when I observed how he was essentially alone in the fight - the entire power structure of the nation had become corrupt to the core and he alone was able to confront it.
In the primary season of 2016, I desperately wanted Cruz to be our candidate - after watching Trump's dedication to the agenda he ran on, refusing to capitulate to the cabal aligned against him, being attacked 24/7 from all fronts with slander, sedition, malicious prosecution, personal smears, sinister hoaxes, two-tiered justice system, financial attacks on his livelihood, and betrayal by many of his presumed political allies, I began to admire the man's grit and resolve, and concluded that he must be the most 'clean' person in any political office anywhere.
He set the stage for the salvation of our Republic - and without the stolen election, would have completed his mission. the debt this nation owes him if we somehow dodge the bullet of this worldwide effort to reduce our nation to just another slot at the UN.
If we survive all this, he belongs on Rushmore

They do it every single time. Before long he’ll argue that open borders, free healthcare for illegals and forced masking is really ‘conservative’.
The progstains pretending to be moderate always follow the same game plan.

Nobody respected Trump internationally.
Seeing that he changed international trade for America with his deals indicates you're either wrong, or they got bested by someone they didn't respect. Regardless, Trump was beating everyone at the game. Making all the stupid environmental groups and trade pacts bow down to his demands to make them more fair for the American tax payer.
China literally started a biological war he had them beaten so bad. You sound stupid for acting like Trump wasn't successful in foreign relations. Indoctrinated Americans will be the reason it falls in the end. Trump will be remembered as a hero in 30-40 years if America is still here.

let's all be clear on this propaganda.
topal asserts that mythical powers strummed up cv19 so as to bring down trump. China and biden or mrs Clinton's daughter. them.
one of the beauties of myth making is to make the mechanics of any trip ups seem magical by means of super human effort. both China and deep state vs putin and trump.

Let’s be clear. The CCP did nothing to contain the pandemic when they could have.
Let’s be clear, to this day I’ve yet to hear any Dims/American Marxists condemn the CCP for their careless handling of Covid19 during the onset of the pandemic……I wonder why?

You think so eh?
Then where was all this shite when he was the boss?
Biden takes over and everything goes to shite. Gas prices soar, food prices soar, inflation way up, taliban, AL qaeda back, Canada's pissed about the pipeline deal, Iran flexing, and NK rattling its Saber again.
You think it's a coincidence it all came about recently?
Trump was an arrogant a-hole, but he was our a-hole.

Does it matter to you at all that these "withheld" tax returns that you are sure will show wide-ranging illegal acts, that they have indeed been examined/audited by the actual federal agency dedicated to snuffing out any such violations of law? And that there have been no indictments? Leading to a reasonable inference that what you hope so very much is there is simply not there?
Surely you've thought about this before, eh?
