Lamar Jackson Chooses Science over Emotion
Weird, not a mention of this on the MSB but if Cousins does anything it’s immediately posted on here.
quote:
"I just got off the COVID list," Jackson said after Monday's practice when asked if he would get the vaccine. "I got to talk to my team about this and see how they feel about it. Keep learning as much as I can about it. We'll go from there." Does that mean he's thinking about getting vaccinated? "We'll see," Jackson said. "Talking to the doctors. We'll see."

Why does Lamar owe anyone a duty to get the shot?
If youre that worried about Covid, get vaccinated, wear a mask in public, and sanitize your hands frequently. If you do that, your chance of getting covid is tiny. And if you somehow do get it, your chances of getting any serious symptoms is absolutely miniscule.

He doesn't have to be. Whether he gets it or not should only be between he, his family, and his doctor.

Being on the COVID list doesn't mean he's had it twice.

True, but he had to sit out 10 days because he tested positive again.

Because he is the starting QB of a NFL franchise?? Seems like a pretty good reason to get vaxed

Im not talking about letting his team down because of league policy towards a positive result. Im talking strictly about Lamar's, or anyone else's, responsibility to other people. How much danger is an unvaccinated individual to a vaccinated person that frequently wears a mask? Based on the numbers I've seen, its incredibly small

He is also trying to get a massive extension and has missed significant time due to Covid twice. He keeps shuffling his feet on this, saying he needs to find out more information before he commits. The team is pissed, cause he is holding them hostage. It is a big story now and his situation is splitting the team. Its not a good look for a team leader.

Well it’s a hippo violation if he tells them. Right fellas?

There’s a big difference between being Kirk Cousins and Keyshawn Cousins in 2021.

Glorious,
F that noise. I support anyone who doesn’t want a vaccine shot except athletes who I might draft in fantasy football. They need the shots just to reduce their possible time in COVID protocols.

ESPN had it on the scroll. The press conference was featured on sportscenter. They had a full-length article written about it. I saw it on the tv behind the bar of a restaurant as a First Take topic this morning.
But yea, other than that, not a peep.

Dude is a 20 something year old world class athlete. He’s already had COVID and has zero chance of dying or being hospitalized at this point in his life.

Trump got the vaccine the moment it was available to him and says everyone else should get it too.
