What are you doing?
Applying for an exemption, quitting, or getting the vaccine?

At My job the vaccine is on the honor system.

Don’t have one, but would quit if forced, unless they had a plan to check my status at their expense….

Do not quit, you are doing them a favor. Claim an exemption and make them fire you.

I'm applying for an exemption and have started looking for another job. What I won't do is comply. That is medical tyranny.

Insisting my employees not be vaccinated. However, I do for the women to get tubal ligation.

None of the above. Quitting disqualifies you from unemployment benefits until you find another job, among other things, including limiting your ability to later litigate. I would keep showing up to work until they terminated me and I would thoroughly document everything.

Well I was being required to as a contract person that they wanted back in the building and no more telemed.
THAT SAID, they were not requiring a single company employee OR a single other contract person so I was given a 30 day notice by my employer (she has the contract with said facility).
5 days later, the company decided that we could stay telemed and my contract was reinstated.
Not sure how long it will last BUT I am fortunate to be in a position that if I get terminated (again lol) or choose to quit, it's of no consequence to my family.

It’s none of their business - tell them to shove it up their arse.

It’s my understanding that if you’re fired, you wouldn’t be eligible for unemployment either?

If they consider you being fired for cause. IE insubordination.
That said, there would be a shite ton of lawsuits. Not saying anyone would win, but I am saying that no company wants to litigate a large percentage of employees. shite is costly.

Unemployment is good in my state and will need it if my job ends because I'm moving if it does. My plan is to use a medical exemption on something else that I own and would probably guarantee it.

My pregnant daughter is too. She’s due Oct 28. Her work just made the vaccine mandatory Oct 1st. I told to under no circumstances to take the vaccine until after she has her baby.

I work a state government job. Given the governor's comments on it, I highly doubt there will be a vax requirement at work. In the department I work in, everyone just seems to just assume everyone else is vaccinated. Nobody's ever asked me if I was, nor have I said anything either way but people seem to assume it.
That said, if there were to be a requirement come up, I sure wouldn't get the vax- at least not at this time. Given that I'm not in a high risk group I would want to wait a period to see what all issues arise with it first. I imagine the union would fight them on it. I would likely file for an exemption. If they were trying to be real assholes about it, I'd probably just slow things down and gum up the gears a little.

I'm fortunate in that my wife's job doesn't require it, we're still young with no kids, and we saved 6 months worth of expenses when we got married a few years ago. So I'm not in a situation where I have to comply for financial reasons.
I've requested an exemption form from HR, and have mentally prepared myself to be terminated if they decline the exemption. I'll just get a lower paying state job that doesn't require it, since I'm assuming most private companies will require it sooner than later.
The only part that really upsets me is that I work from home. Going back to an office job and a commute is going to suck big time.

I took it but don't work. I guess I would have if I was still working.
