Words, phrases, lyrics, ideas you misunderstood as a kid

What did you hear or understand as a kid that turned out to be wrong, maybe incredibly wrong?
For a long time (from age 4 to 5 or 6), I thought I was eating at Waterburger. I felt incredibly stupid when I realized my mistake.
Many of my friends in middle/high school sang the wrong lyrics to VH's "Jump."
"Maxwell, jump!" Idiots....

I had no idea what a virgin was when I was little. Madonna’s Like a Virgin played on MTV all the time. I was 7 and My older sister like 15 at the time pissed me off and I said “ well at least I am not a virgin like you!”

I’m pretty sure there isn’t a human alive who’s ever figured out the lyrics to Blinded by the Light by Manfred Mann's Earth Band without having to Google the lyrics.
