Sad to hear. What he did at Florida State was just simply amazing. Not only a great coach, but an even better man. 91 years old. He had a terrific run. RIP Coach Bowden

Sad to hear. Rivalry aside. Hell of a series in the 90s with UF and FSU. Did a hell of a job with that program. RIP coach.

Great man. Heard him speak once at a local FCA event. Wouldn’t think he was a football coach by how nice he was. RIP

One of the greatest coaches to ever do it, an absolute legend and and even better human being.

They don't make them like him anymore.

He was a true Christian in every sense of the word. An example we should all strive to be, especially w/all of the fake Christians/Pharisees running around these days.

Typically as a Catholic I would pray for the repose of his soul but no need to for Bobby. He is in paradise.

Thank you Coach. RIP, and enjoy your eternal reward.

The man accomplished a lot in his long life and will be remembered as one of the best coaches in the college football ranks.

One of the best to ever walk the sidelines on Saturday's.

RIP Mr. Bowden

College football was just more fun when the coaches like Bowden had some personality.
