My goodness, I didn’t realize you were plain stupid. There’s no official allegations from the NCAA. You continue to post from an anonymous source ESPN claims has sent them documents proving Wade paid players. If the NCAA had these documents a year ago, when it was released, Wade and LSU would’ve already been reprimanded. As it stands now LSU hasn’t even received an NOA. Notice your article doesn’t name a single source except for the convict they’ve always used for these quotes because he’s actually the source. The article also fails to produce the documents, of course lol. I honestly can’t believe I have to sit here and teach a grown man how to read a “news” article.

Well, no shite. Your post I responded to wasn't talking about offical allegations. You said...

Wade and Smart were both cleared over 2 years ago of these same rumors that continue to be recycled by the media, nothing new has even been alleged.

You were talking about things being reported by the media. I gave you another thing that is being reported. It's that simple.

I agree. Even though it’s a different issue from NIL, I think the general public’s perception is that it’s the same. The NCAA lost revenue due to Covid and I don’t think they’ll direct resources to this any longer. I think they’re more concerned with staying relevant and surviving the next 5 years.

You think it's legal for a coach to arrange payment for a player to go to school?

You think that the nil isn’t just a way to funnel money from booster to athlete? Wow some of us just can’t seem to see the forest for the trees.

The NIL rule has nothing to do with schools or boosters paying players. That is still a violation of NCAA rules

NIL is like the biggest loophole ever.

Wrong, totally wrong. The NCAA actually came down here and looked into the Smart/Wade “strong offer” situation and like I said cleared them both. You’re claiming that unconfirmed rumors ESPN can’t even support is the same thing when it isn’t even close.

You don't see the potential of recruiting with a booster who owns a company that will use nil to pay for a player or entice a player to go portal transfer for big contract. The evil wheel is turning. Maybe Saban's auto dealership can sway player now also if possible. Yes unscrupulous representatives are forming at the right.

What would keep an alumni , assuming he as a company , to offer a million for a 18 year old kid to do ads. Why would there ever be a limit ? What's going to happen to all the Kansas' of the world ? The New Mexico's ? The Washington States of the world ? How in Hell will they be able to recruit against Nike ? The end of the NCAA as we have known it is within sight . I think TV contracts are the only binding agreements keeping the NCAA in tact . The Texas schools . & even Okie with their oil money , are going to offer these kids tons of money. Pandora's box opened, & it's going to make a shitload of tennagers overnight millionaires. If you believe otherwise ,just kick back & watch.

This is a complete shite take.

Companies spend money on advertisement. If they feel a kid can make their business bring in more money, why shouldn't they be able to pay him/her?

Why do you hate America?

Please tell me you aren't dumb enough to think Kansas basketball will now disappear. They have been paying players forever. You talking about Kansas football? They have always sucked.

Because New Mexico was competing against Oregon currently?

So you mean to tell me that the schools with the most money will have the most success? Tell me what schools have the most money, and then list the most successful schools recently. You might be kind of shocked.

Just a total shite take.

They never were gonna do anything. They just bully universities into admitting guilt and then crucify them anyway………unless it North Carolina or Another Blue blood. No its completely dead unless LSU somehow asks for it, by turning in violations.

Technically, but tell me one booster at any major school who doesn't have a "legitimate" business reason to pay for a player's "endorsement" of his business
