NIL good for Will Wade “investigation”

How does the ncaa pursue a coach for allegedly paying players when it is clearly 100% legal to pay them now. They have to leave him be.

Keep dreaming. They're not gonna retroactively apply a new rule to an investigation that began before the new rule was put in place.

The NIL rule has nothing to do with schools or boosters paying players. That is still a violation of NCAA rules.

It matters in the sense that a FBI investigation and everybody's pearl clutching looks incredibly ridiculous in hindsight. OLOL gives Javonte 300K in 2017 because Wade whispered for them to do it, outrageous. OLOL gives Darius Days 300K in 2021 because Wade whispers for them to do it, good for him.
I'm sure they'll hand down some token punishment so Dicky V doesn't stroke out and die after seeing a headline saying Will Wade cleared but if they had substance they'd have done something by now.

Definitely not. The FBI investigation was ridiculous enough already with the guy wagging his finger declaring "coaches we've got your book" and they ended getting six months on a couple middlemen. Apparently you do too. The NIL is already being violated by a lot of these deals. That rule was implemented as appeasement to ignorant fans clinging to the “fairness” argument. It is not being followed at all.
