I used the pastalaya recipe that LSUDad posted here yesterday at my tailgate, and I just wanted to say That stuff was RIGHT. I got compliments all day long on it and will definitely be cooking it again! Great recipe!

Impossible. You don't have access to the Buffalo roaming Northern Italy, Louisiana for the Mozzarella that they use.

I have always used that recipe as a base recipe for Pastalaya. I generally only change the spices a little bit. Its a solid recipe.

Dad, does this recipe feed a ton of people? Can it be downsized to feed about 6?

6 = (me 5 servings) (girlfriend 1 serving)

Go by the recipe, put the leftovers in ziplock bags in the freezer. It will keep for months.

Made this Sat for the game. Had to half it, so I was probably slightly off on a few things. But, it came out damn good, except it took longer to cook than I thought so I had to rush it a little once the game was on.

Has anyone tried this with any other pasta beside big spaghetti?
