According to O per Shea Dixon’s Twitter.

I’m not sure why people actually thought he would be a straight up WR

This is not ideal for Bech or LSU.
Necessity is a mother.

He will play a TE role similar to Arik last season.

Basically a big physical slot receiver. He wont be like a foster moreau. More like a darren waller

Personally, I thought he needed to put on more weight (reported 225lbs)/size before he was ready. Excited to see him play though.

he'll be asked to run routes, catch, run after catch, and make blocks. carry on.

I see him as an Evan Ingram type TE. Could be all-SEC as a freshman in a pass first offense.

He's a plus athlete at TE although lacking a little in height. Delanie Walker is only 6'1 and he's had a great career. He'll still be a playmaker wherever you line him up which is what matters

Bech is taller than Thad Moss. Height didn’t seem to be a problem for Thad and Jack is more athletic.

I think Jack will move to slot once we get some TE's on campus.

He should be just fine at TE this year as long as Peetz uses him creatively.

Knew it and said it but he will be flexed out. Works for him

This is what I've wanted all along. I think this is the perfect spot for him as far as NFL potential goes.

He will be a great "receiving" tight end, which I see as closer to a slot receiver than a tight end.

So if he’s a TE that’s flexed out in the slot, then that’s good, right? Or is it good, if he’s a WR lined up in the slot? Can anyone explain to me what the difference is? If he’s flexed out, doesn’t matter what his position is… am I missing something? Lol

You think he’s going to be an inline blocking TE? No chance

That’s Kole Taylor all day

Bech will be an H-back TE that plays in the slot more than on the line
