Just generally improving the bullpen is obviously the biggest desire but getting a decent lefty would be nice
Kennedy makes too much sense with how cheap he is so guessing Click does something else

Fell asleep last night, just saw the lowlight of Toros HR bouncing out of Tuckers glove.
He needs the killer instinct to go up and grab/attack that ball. In the playoffs those are series changing plays…oof. Glad we still got the W

Damn I still can't get over wtf Seattle thought about that trade. Toro is a fine player but giving the team who is leading your division exactly what they need when you are competing for it is wild.

They must intend to package Toro.
If they ship him off today before the game he'll have hit a HR in his only Mariners AB.

I saw Goldstein make the argument that the Mariners gladly did if for 3 more years of control vs 20-30 innings of graveman. Makes a little more sense like that

Their front office rates Toro as an average or better MLB starter. The trade makes sense from a value standpoint. It also makes sense because they know the M's have overachieved this season and making the playoffs isn't a big deal in their big picture.
However...

Look, I know the trade deadline is just a couple days away. I understand the Astros still have some pretty big holes to patch. I believe all of this trade talk in the DAT is valuable.
