This chart speaks volumes. We are in an Orwellian country

This is the chart every swinging dick needs to see.

I would love to see a column for covid cases next to those covid deaths so we could really see the mortality rates by age.

So COVID has accounted for 10% or more of all deaths for everyone over the age of 47?
I wouldn't say that's insignificant...

It’s kind of depressing that almost 30,000 infants die every year

And let's keep in mind the death numbers are grossly exaggerated. Remove comorbidity and repeat.

Yeah, let's shut down the country, destroy small businesses and kill the economy because of one vulnerable subset of people.

Great, Then let them take the vaccine

does this chart claim that the column under covid is the number of people that have NO other issues...but truly died of covid??
the devil is always in the details.

It is when you see it’s from the CDC, who do no differentiate between FROM and WITH COVID. Plus, it’s not accounting for the flu deaths that would’ve occurred had a normal flu season passed through the US (or was flu just listed as COVID?). So tired of this bullshite. Let people live their fricking lives.

Like I've said previously, it seems reasonable that people over the age of 40 would get the vaccine, and understandable that someone over 30 would get it. The benefits outweigh the risks, or are at least comparable to the risks, and the benefits increase as age increases.
It is completely unreasonable to expect anyone under the age of 30 to get the vaccine, and it should in fact be discouraged for that age group. The benefits do not outweigh the risks.
ETA: I would like to see more about the "82 COVID deaths" in children under the age of 1. I find that number hard to believe.

I would like to see the average weight of these people as well.

I would rather die of covid than live in a world where I am locked in doors 24/7 by the government. I might be approaching 40 but I’ll take my chances

Would probably have to double or triple it if you count abortions.

Yeah our infant death totals are severely undercounted because of our decision to ignore murders by abortion.

These people were probably on the verge of dying due to comorbidities because 94% of the people dying of COVID have on average 2.9 comorbidities. However, COVID apparently pushed them over the edge. Prior to COVID it would have been heart disease, diabetes, cancer, influenza or something else that would have pushed them over the edge.
The number one stat that pops out to me in this COVID pandemic is comorbidities. I understand a lot of people can't get rid of some comorbidities but if you can do everything possible to drop the comorbidities. It's the best defense against all diseases.

If this country treated obesity the way it does Covid, we would really be making some progress.
Posted on 7/28/21 at 10:33 am to LoneStarRanger
Are the covid deaths exclusive or are they covid plus co-morbidity deaths that are labeled simply covid death?
Posted on 7/28/21 at 10:33 am to LoneStarRanger
It's not really an argument for or against the vaccine. I get the flu shot every year, not because I'm afraid of dying from it, but because I don't want to be dog sick for a week. It's the same with Covid for me. I don't want to be laid out for 10 days. It does make somewhat of a point that there is really no risk to young people, but they can still give it to older people.
PS: I hate lockdowns.

It may or may not be. In order for this to mean anything, we'd have to see other things that might kill you to get an idea of scale.
