But it's not innovating. I know I'm being pedantic, but, ya know, words mean something. All that to say, I legitimately don't know what innovation looks like nowadays. What else can they do with beer that qualifies as new?

I generally agree with you that a well-crafted, traditional style carries a lot of weight for me nowadays. Parleaux is great. If you make your way up to New England, check out Notch in Salem, MA. Cheers, dude.

I’ve been really wanting to try their beer. They were on the craft beer channel on youtube and it seems like my jam.

Parish brews some delicious beers, no doubt. Despite the boorish mood in the taproom, Ghost and their stouts are top tier.

But I just want a top LA brewery to put some effort into a WC IPA instead of hazy or shite infused with milk and fruit.

This meme being brought up in every discussion regarding shelf beer prices is dumb.

I can buy a prime 16 oz filet at HEB for $25. The same cut will cost me $50-60 at a restaurant.

What a shitty analogy

Really? I’ve always found Notch to be decent but nothing special. But I haven’t been to their actual brewery in years. I’ll have to go back as I trust your opinion on NE beers.

You have to log in to their website at 11:00 am. Less than a minute later, after putting a case in your cart and while inputting your credit card info to complete the transaction, your case will disappear and there will be no lemonade IPA for you.

frick Parish.

Lol....frick them for being successful

No. The issue is a woefully underpowered POS system for their online releases.

This only happens when they release DDH Ghost or when they did the Triple Ghost (1 time). The number of people logging into their system for those releases is truly impressive. I forget the exact number but those releases draw customers from around the country. No other beer brewed in state has anywhere near the national draw that DDH ghost has. Hell, it has a 4.6 rating on Untappd, try to find another LA brewed beer that has a 4.2.

Rally Cap GLGGRA is 4.24
DDH Bang the Trashcan is 4.34
Batting 1.000is 4.22

That was easy

Ok, my bad, still not close to 4.6. Also, DDH ghost has 10x’s the number of reviews.

Just FYI, I’m not a huge Parish fan. I’d rather Parleaux, Cypress Coast, GB, and Gilla over them for sure. Also really like 7th Tap in Shreveport. But I do respect what Parish has been able to accomplish on a national level.

Sounds like it will be similar to Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy but with an IPA instead of a weiss.

They lost that title a long time ago, IMO.

All Relation isn’t coming back bro

they blew everything else in LA out of the water . Those few months they were open before Covid were glorious
