It started Monday when my boss made me put a mask on and stay 7 ft away from everybody else. Then today he asked me when I’m getting the vaccine and I politely said I don’t know (I’m not getting the vaccine). This is actually the second time after this response that he’s responded saying that changes are coming to the company. Almost implying that I’d be fired if I don’t get the shot. I’m highly considering applying for other jobs.

Why tell them your vaccination status at all?

It’s becoming very complicated for managers. We currently have 8 people out with Covid, all 8 were not vaccinated. Two of them are in bad shape and getting antibody therapy at OLOL. I’m not sure what the path forward is, but it’s obvious that unvaccinated people are getting sick at a rapid pace right now.

If they are all vaccinated why do they need you to get the shot? Won’t they be fine?

I’d collect unemployment for a year if this douche fires you.

Ask your Democrat boss if it’s FDA approved and what recourse you will have if you die as a result.

Also, you should sue them for a hostile work environment

The first place you screwed up is even answering the question.

It's not anybody else's business whether you've been vaccinated or not.

Unless they have a written policy saying it is a requirement of employment I would decline to comment. It's certainly legal for them to do that (unfortunately) but make them do that and then make your choice.

IMHO I don't believe many companies will be taking the risk to make written policy requiring it as then they have some liability if you have an adverse reaction and then it would even become an OSHA recordable.

Even many healthcare settings do not require it as they know it is a huge can of worms.

Sounds like you are not actually being threatened at all.

Ignore it.

They sent out a survey at work asking about vaccination status. I deleted it 3 times like most of my co workers. They say if you haven't had the shot you still have to wear a mask. But they haven't ask for proof. The 2 people out right now were the first to get the vaccines. I'll make them fire me and go from there if it comes to that.

Tell him you will get it once you get a written assumption of liability letter rrviewed by your attorney and signed by the owner/board that they take all responsibility for any adverse affects of the vaccine they are requiring for your job.

Then get it if you want your job. At will employment.

Free market. Employer is allowed to be wrong.

Someone is asserting pressure on him to assert on you.

Just be up front and go meet with him and ask if you can talk to him in his office. Tell him your stance.

But I would t want to work for anyone who pressures like that.

Lawyer up. I suspect there will be a new wave of 'car wreck' litigators, who'll focus on job-based discrimination. Might take a while as the Courts will be pro-Government.

The fear of 'pestilence' is as old as the hills; no way this can be countered when Government aided and abetted by the MSM plays the fear card. Government is seeking TOTAL CONTROL; and they'll likely get it...for a while. Until the innate weakness in the populous creates dysfunction, collapse and reboot. Herding cats.

I currently know of 3 people with Covid. All were, in their words, “fully vaccinated! I don’t understand!”
