Fleur de lis pizza

Pizza is greasy and the place is dark and cramped and are they still cash only?

Came here to post this.

Garbage food.

Last time I went the sauce was turning rancid.

The fact people think this garbage is good says a lot about why this state is garbage as well.

That watch repair place on Florida next Richards Ford.

That has to be a front for some money laundering outfit.

Now I want Florida Blvd. Piccadilly for lunch.

The Florida Blvd. location is the best Piccadilly. The manager there is great. She still remembers me from when I was a kid and she worked the register at the one in Cortana. That was 30 years ago.

Hobby Towne is awesome they have an unbelievable selection of radio controlled models, it’s refreshing to see a family owned and operated business survive. I guess I’m old school but hearing “thank you for your business” means a lot to me.

Yes, Hobby Towne is awesome for what it is. That place has some of the coolest stuff that some people would consider toys. I've gotten into RC stuff at three points in my life (first electri cars, then planes, then to nitro powered cars). The same guy worked there at all 3 times, a tall slim fella with a stutter. He has to be the owner or part of the owning family. I guess they make enough money to stay profitable. Think about it, if that was your life to hang out at RC plane/car at talk about it with fellow hobbyist. Not a bad life, if you can make enough to eat.

They have their little niche and I imagine they're doing ok. I had my TAG worked on there several years ago, it was the only place I could bring it to without voiding the warranty. I was afraid to ship it off although that may have been all they did. I don't know.

I love how creative they got with the name:

WATCH REPAIR

They didn't even try to be clever. Watch Repair. That's it.

City Cafe on O'Neal was originally in Plaquemine.
It takes cards. Stays Packed.

Alexandria has a shop for vacuums. I’ve never understood, but it seems to be a solid business

And it also happens to be in an area with a ton of Hispanics. If the food is authentic enough, they may get good business from them.

This will ruffle some feathers, but I find Mason’s to be a waste of money. I’m surprised how much people love it.

I 100% agree. The building is pretty dirty in itself, for starters. I've had the burger once and thought it was good (used to work next door), but we have plenty of great burgers around town.

The brunch is very mediocre to me, especially when there are a lot of awesome brunch places on my side of town. And the wait is well over an hour to be seated on a Sunday. Parking is a nightmare too.
