It seems like I have seen several things about pickleball in the past few weeks. Is this the new crase or something?

Come to where I live and I’ll beat your arse. In pickle ball, too.

My town renovated four of the tennis courts to become pickle ball courts. They are packed more often than not.

Never heard of it til we moved here south of Nashville, but it's definitely popular with the senior active crowd here.

It is a sport that the moderately (or mildly) athletic can pick up quickly and enjoy. COVID drove it partially like a lot of other outdoor sports. The Highland pickleball courts are almost always busy and in the plans for redoing Greenwood Park, they are taking out multiple tennis courts and putting in a lot more pickleball courts.

Only people I know that play pickleball are 65+ and they dress like they're playing real tennis.

The people playing pickleball around me are the cringe bros that have aged out of ultimate frisbee.

Go play it for awhile and you'll see what you're missing out on.

It’s fun and It takes a quarter of the effort as tennis. A sport for the lazy and an activity for all.

It’s the new millineals drinking sport. Used to be kickball until a few assholes had to get all serious about it. Seems pickle ball has already become that way and now millennials are moving on to spike ball. The second they have to actually try to win...another obscure sport will become popular.

It was a big thing at the ymca pre-Covid - there were even some churches that started having pickle ball teams

It’s fun but nothing I got overly excited about

What about frisbee golf? Is that a GenX thing? I remember learning about that in college. A friend of mine played it at ULL.

Dude, you talked shite about meeting up, I was asking for details. You would give me some bullshite and then when it got to the day, you wouldn't say anything.

I told you, I am down. This is your thing. Just get the shite together and let me know where I need to be and what time.
