With Love and Beal out, we have two spots to fill, who do we bring in? I don’t think the Pelicans would be thrilled with Zion going. I think you add a guy who can initiate the offense and distribute like JA Morant, or Fox, Young, and add whatever shot blocking big you think is best.

Is Aaron Gordon on the team? He seems to be exactly what they need to me.

Hell to tell the truth… probably the 12 best college or high school players… public would support them … even if they lose can’t be no worse than watching better players lose

That would be great except that other countries send pros.

I don't understand why guys like Zion and Young weren't chosen in the first place. I'm looking at the Olympic team roster and there are only two players that I would say are top 10 American players. That's KD and Dame Lillard. Does anybody think that Zion and Young aren't top 20 American players?

Ok… that’s obvious… my point still stands … who cares if they lose???

The problem now is that our pros know their better regardless of the outcome…it’s like someone else doing your same job at a inferior company who’s compensated less… them outdoing you in a exhibition means nothing

Gee I wonder where they get it from.

Our pros don’t just know they’re better, they’ve BEEN better. That can be quantified.

It’s called “they’re more motivated and they want your job” and with that attitude you’d probably lose it.

That being said, I’m not willing to see our realistic chance at gold thrown out because some are butthurt

Well the NBA being the highest level of basketball in world probably gives them that idea… plus the money and fame

Or it could mean their doing it on a much lower level…
