No one in rock and roll history may have had a voice like hers.

Her hits include:
-Blue Bayou Greatest Song!
-Poor Poor Pitiful Me
-You're No Good
-When Will I Be Loved
-Hurts So Bad

Inducted into Rock and Roll of Fame in 2014. Couldn’t attend due to her battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Babelicious back in the day.

My old buddy had a huge crush on her back in the day. Bought every one of her albums.

Incredible singer that doesn't get mentioned enough in the greatest female singer debates.

I lover her cover of Little Feat's Willin'.

I’ve been revisiting her records lately. So fine.

Happy birthday Ms. Ronstadt.

Amazing talent but just a bit ironic that she only wrote four songs during her career.

Crazy to see this thread. I listened to Blue Bayou on drive home from work yesterday and was thinking that song is a clinic to showcase her range. No one talks about her much, but her voice was fantastic and her range was incredible.

Lady had a ton of talent, IMO one of the best singers of all time.

Blue Bayou
is a Roy Orbison song.

also not hers

also not hers

She did write the Spanish version of the Plow King song, though.

Blue Bayou is not her greatest song.

It’s Long, Long Time.

My favorite is her cover of Neil Young's "Look Out For My Love."

Neil's version is crap. She makes it special.

She was the opening performer/band for Neil Young at the LSU PMAC in February 1973. I didn't know who she was at the time.

Neal Young-1973 PMAC Setlist.
