mostly in louisiana. in 2007, we were stupid enough to vote it in. before that, you didn't have to be an atty to be a judge in La.

but..............the worded it like this:

in order to become a judge, you must first be an atty for at least 10 years.

- most people thought that you had to be an atty to be a judge

if they'd have worded it like this:

in order to be a judge you must FIRST be an atty...........the results may have been a little different.
