They cut out all dealers. Direct only now.
Bass Pro still is active, but likely will also get cut.

My uncle used to work with them and they were one of the worst to deal with so I’m surprised they weren’t the first cut, but obviously they are the big dog so I’m sure that’s why. Curious why?

Margins on stuff like that is crazy for the retailer, if the manufacture can sell out at max capacity and get the margin themselves they will make MUCH more money.

Those of you old enough to remember the old couple with Tree Lounge -- they were direct sales also.

Last year I bought a Novix Echo (breakoff of Lone Wolf, not to be confused with Lone Wolf Custom Gear). Got a 20% Veterans discount, shipped to my door. No complaints. I would rather not step into a big box store anyhow.

I don’t disagree at all and I don’t know their avg retailer by any means, but lone Wolf was more a high end specialty niche market like say Sitka. So id think this would hurt the small shop owners more as it was a potential draw for them. Maybe not. I’m not sure a lot of outdoor stuff couldn’t go more into direct sales. Market it on tv and sell online.

I honestly don't know how viable the box stores are going to be much longer. Almost every outdoor/hunting purchase I've made has been online this calendar year except for ammunition.

Any complaints with the Novix Echo? I'm close to buying one for next season. What sticks you running with that?

I know you were not asking me, but i use 4 LW sticks, and a 2nd set of 4 Ameristep Rapid Rails Alum

If I was to guess though, this is likely more to deal with their inability to fill orders or change in business plan. Sell less at a higher profit margin directly through online sales, then sell more at a smaller profit margin through retailers. This enables you to need less product and reduces potential supply chain issues.

I loved my alpha 2…until I got my tethrd saddle now my lone wolf sits in the storage closet

Sorry, just getting back to you. No complaints on the Novix Echo at all. Pretty much identical to Lone Wolf. There is no bowholder thingy in the middle of the platform mold, that must have been proprietary or something. Its very quiet and comfy. The batwing is cool.

I run 3 different sticks. Hawk Helium, Muddy, and Leverage. I usually use some combo of them. I'll use 2 leverage close to the ground then 3 Muddys for example. I wish I had matching sets lol. I kind of prefer the Muddy Aerolites out of all 3.

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and ordered an XOP Vanish Evo with full size XOP sticks last week. Currently waiting on arrival. It’s my first hang on stand, so I figured I would dip my toes in with the cheaper but very similar XOP. Ordered a third hand bow holder also. I used a climber last year but the railing was a pain to draw over when bow hunting.

Yea i hear you about the climber. XOP is good stuff. Main difference for me is Novix = Made in USA, XOP = China. You'll be happy with it though.

Wut?? The Alpha 2 is a sweetie!
I haven’t tried the saddle yet but I can’t see myself liking it, as I like to sit for long hunts and would think I’d be moving around too much to see anything
