This reminds me of a combination of the 2003,2007 and 2019 Roster.

Experience. Top-shelf Frosh contributors. Depth. Talent across the Roster. Strong QB. Strong Special Teams. Hungry Tigers.

Plus, that schedule looks like '19 in terms of navigation-ability.

I'm feeling it

BIG TIME.

I'm sooo ready.

Geaux Tigers

I’m so into baseball right now. Have been watching, reading, and listening to, everything I can get my hands on.

Talent and depth wise I really like this team.

My biggest concern is the new coaching staff. I like the hires it's just that their ability to scheme, gameplan and adjust is a virtual unknown on both sides of the ball.

You really think the O-Line will be good enough?

id pump the brakes until we know what the defense can and cannot do.

after all, coach o did say the defense was leaps and bounds better under belini than under aranda before the first game was even played last season; and we all know how that turned out

Won't beat Bama at Bama, we can revisit this after the game.

Disagree -- not enough firepower on offense. I'm more optimistic about the oline than most, but I'm pessimistic about our playmakers. We really only have two big-time playmakers (Boutte, Emery), and one is criminally underused. The lack of playmaking ability on our roster was evident to anyone who watched the Spring game -- our WRs made the second-team DBs look all-conference.

Don't get me wrong. I think players like Moore, Jenkins, and Kirklin are solid contributors and will make plays here and there. And, obviously, Davis-Price is a reliable if not explosive back. But I have zero confidence that these guys will be difference makers against the best teams in our league with the season on the line.

Our best hope to find some additional playmakers is with the trio of awesome freshmen WRs, but it will probably take them until the end of the season to find their footing, and by then it will be too late.

Sorry, but I'm just not buying the hype on this team.

I definitely think we have the talent to win a natty no question. But a few things have to fall in place:
1. Elite QB play
2. Somebody has to really step up at RB
3. We have to establish a solid second receiving target behind Boutte
4. The defense limits big plays
5. The O-Line stays healthy

Excited for the season. Geaux Tigers!

I had '21 circled since before the '19 season as a potential banner year. Of course at that time I was expecting Brennan to have a full season under his built, Emery to be a household name, Rosenthal and Marcel Brooks to still be on roster, Aranda and Brady to still be around, among others.

The potential is still there though.

We sure have a lot of returning production and starters. We have alot of talent, that's never a question. I think we will be very good. We will see how it plays out.

Way to many questions for me to be confident in this team. The first game of the season will tell you a lot. I won't be suprised if UCLA beats LSU, even with a win I don't think they contend for a Natty.
